Mandy writes hot, contemporary romances with a rural flair because she loves being in nature, disconnecting to simpler times and places, and of course, she's a sucker for steamy love stories with no holds barred. When she's not writing, she loves playing guitar and piano, painting, and running.
She currently lives in a big city with her husband, three fur-children, and one feathered one, but someday she hopes to move to the middle of nowhere and acquire a farm full of critters. She can't wait to build her dream writing nook inside of a barn and spin stories to the tune of donkeys and goats rather than acoustic rock music.
Mandy does not use AI in any stage of her writing process. She believes that generative AI is theft, and is overwhelmingly harmful to creatives. As a nature-lover, she's alarmed by AI's environmental impact. As someone who still holds a 9-5, she's concerned about its impact on workers. And as a writer, she fundamentally disagrees with the concept of using a machine to emulate human emotions.
Romance, of all genres, is especially about emotions, and her own love of writing goes into every love story... even the more erotic ones. Because who wants to read robot-written sex?
In addition to the actual content of Mandy's books, all cover art and formatting is human-made. In fact, it's designed by her! Mandy currently works in graphic design, and before that, she sold paintings by commission and at local art fairs. Visual art is a passion of hers as much as written art, and she believes in preserving the human aspect of both.
